Our dog, a wonderful, gutsy German

Shepherd had to be put down. It’s what

many of us have had to deal with over

the years.

With other pets as well. Knowing it was

coming  yet not wanting to think about it.

Writer’s comment: The photo is of Coffee taken

the day before we had to have her put down.

I seldom burst into tears. That’s what happened.

I come into my (home) office, messy as it always it,

open the door to the outside and breath in the fresh air’

I look atop my printer and say good morning to those

waiting for me to get down to work.

It’s amusing when spending a good portion of my day

on my keyboard to look at them and nod good morning.

They’re not real. Some are stuffed. With whatever.

Others are made of wood. Throw in the Tiny Eiffel Tower

and a key chain with a tiny bottle attached. On it are two

‘Grand Marnier.’ A reminder of days past

Writer’s comment:  You can imagine how this came about’

Filling the televisions are the Olympics from Paris, France.

It’s damn difficult to tear ( myself) away from the screen

with all that grabs your attention. It ends today after two weeks.

Catch your breath and get back to work.
