What could be more thrilling than watching last Thursday night's hockey game.

It was the 4 Nations final when Canada taking on the USA in Boston. Best on best!

Where hockey brings out a noisy, rowdy crowd of spectators!

So much more than hockey at stake!

Many or most Canadians across our country were glued to their TVs for the game.

It took away our breaths from the opening puck drop.

It ended in a 2-2 tie.

Groan.

Overtime.

Authors comment: I turn away when it comes to games ending in overtime.

Within three steps, I sit down to watch. And stay there till it's over.

Not knowing how it would end would drive me crazy.

Connor McDavid does the deed. A pass for Mitch Marner and....

With these guys carrying the weight of a nation on their backs!

They got it done and the nation breathes a sigh of relief.

3-2! Well done boys!

MOTHERS DAY

HORSING AROUND!

I had trouble even as a kid when an animal died or had to be put down. My dad, an Anglican priest, had in church near Toronto though we spent much of our time in Woodbridge where my father was born.
