It seems like yesterday though it’s how many

years ago it was as published DONALD MORRISON,

THE MEGANTIC OUTLINE. (Doubleday).

A review (Toronto Star) was published under

the heading : CHEERS FOR AN OUTLAW.

It told of a Canadian outlaw ‘in the glamorous

mold of Billy the Kid and other red- blooded villians

–from shootout to trial an authentic slice of Canadian

history.

I’ve published other books since but none gives

me such joy as picking the book up and grinning

from ear to ear.

Author’s comment: A film was produced some years

later based on the book. Even a sweater popped up.
