WORKING ALONE AT HOME

Writer: Clarke WallaceClarke Wallace

‘How to get started?’ Each morning. Working at home and it’s

work time. Picking up where you left off the day/night before

is easier than starting something new. Grin and bear it.

Working there takes a lot of discipline. What helps? Having a

routine. Breakfast before 8 AM. Carry your morning coffee with you.

No excuse to leave the room later to get one.

The door is left open a touch so our German shepherds, mother

Coffee; daughter Rebelle can see for themselves how I’m doing.

Author’s comment: Working at home I’ve discovered something in the

house must move. I’ve had rabbits, turtles, mice. What now?

Our German shepherds – mother Coffee, daughter Rebelle - pushing

the office door open with their snouts reminding me it’s past four

o’clock and they’re hungry.
